Pick a loop. Improve an outcome.
The Exosphere Agentic Loop Catalogue: governed loops across quote-to-cash, for consumer and enterprise alike.
Every loop below follows the same governed pattern: detect a signal, understand the telecom and customer context, decide an eligible route, act within authority, confirm what changed. What differs is the outcome each one moves.
They run over the BSS you already operate. Exos does not sell a BSS, and the loops are not written against one - they read and act through open interfaces, so the same catalogue applies whichever stack you run.
The loops below are a representative sample of the Exosphere Agentic catalogue, not the full set. New loops are engineered continuously as customers identify the outcomes that matter most to them. If the loop you need isn't listed, it can be built.
Product Expert Agent
Connected to the product catalogue through TM Forum Open APIs such as TMF620 Product Catalog, TMF622 Product Ordering and TMF648 Quote, or over MCP, the Product Expert Agent reasons over products, offers, bundles, pricing, promotions, eligibility rules, service specifications, customer context and lifecycle state. That is a different thing from searching catalogue data.
B2C product loops
- Upgrade recommendationReads the current plan, usage pattern, available offers and eligibility rules, then recommends the best upgrade or bundle - roaming, Wi-Fi optimisation, a move to a family plan. Outcome: higher ARPU, lower churn.
- Personalised offerUses usage, location, device type, household composition and contract status to propose handset bundles, streaming packages, home internet upgrades or loyalty incentives. Moves offers from static campaign to individual recommendation.
- Store associate copilotSupports retail staff mid-sale: searches the catalogue, evaluates promotions, calculates financing, finds eligible discounts and proposes a bundle against the customer budget.
- CareExplains why a product or package cannot be added by validating the current plan, geographic restrictions, product dependencies and billing compatibility - then offers the alternative that does work.
- Churn preventionOn cancellation intent, retrieves retention offers, checks eligibility, identifies the most suitable promotion and produces a retention recommendation inside the discount authority that applies.
B2B and enterprise product loops
- Solution configurationBuilds complex enterprise solutions - WAN, SD-WAN, managed security, UCaaS, voice, mobile, Ethernet - across multiple locations, validating availability, reading service specifications and resolving dependencies.
- CPQ and quoteReads intent and catalogue data, applies commercial rules, generates the quote structure and produces the proposal. Aligns with autonomous quote-to-order orchestration.
- Product portfolio advisorAnalyses catalogue, order, revenue and margin data to find low attach rates and recommend new bundles, pricing changes or retirement.
- Contract renewalReviews expiring contracts, product inventory, competitor risk and available promotions, and generates renewal proposals.
- Partner ecosystemAnswers wholesale, reseller and channel questions: what a partner may resell, which margins apply, which offers exist in a market, which products support settlement models.
Product management loops
- Catalogue rationalisationFinds duplicate products, orphaned offers, retired dependencies and invalid configurations, and proposes the clean-up.
- Launch new productDrafts product definitions, pricing structures and eligibility rules, validates dependencies and proposes TM Forum-compliant catalogue objects.
- Product impact analysisAssesses what retiring a product would actually break - subscribers, bundles, quotes, orders and partner dependencies - before the change is made.
Billing Agent
The Billing Agent works across billing, order, usage, service inventory, CRM, contract and settlement data to explain bills, resolve disputes, find anomalies, prevent bill shock, optimise spend and protect revenue - in consumer and enterprise environments alike.
B2C billing loops
- Bill explanationExplains why a bill changed: retrieves bill history, compares prior invoices and identifies new services, overages, roaming, fees or an expired promotion. Raises a dispute case where one is warranted.
- Billing dispute resolutionInvestigates a charge for a cancelled service by verifying the cancellation order, checking provisioning status and reviewing billing events, then determines whether a credit is due and runs the approval workflow.
- Usage and overage analysisReads CDRs and usage events to explain overage charges, identify the top devices or users, detect unusual behaviour and recommend a better-fitting plan. Applies to wireless, broadband and IoT.
- Proactive bill-shock preventionDetects roaming spikes, data overages and premium activations before the invoice is generated, then notifies the customer and recommends a bundle or protection plan.
- Credit riskReads balance, invoice and payment history, failed payments, promises-to-pay and open disputes to classify non-payment risk early, then routes the account to the right treatment - a reminder, a payment arrangement, a dispute hold or a human review - rather than a blanket disconnect. Worked example: the collections loop.
- Payment arrangementFor a customer who cannot pay: evaluates account status, applies policy, builds a compliant instalment plan and schedules the payments - without needing a live agent on the call.
- Retention and billingHandles "my bill is too expensive" by analysing usage, comparing alternative plans, assessing churn probability and creating a personalised offer within margin.
B2B and enterprise billing loops
- Enterprise invoice analysisExplains a large enterprise invoice by traversing parent and child accounts, identifying what changed and summarising the drivers.
- Multi-account billing investigationFor estates with thousands of services, hundreds of cost centres and multiple subsidiaries: answers which business unit drove an increase, without an analyst rebuilding it in a spreadsheet.
- Contract complianceChecks agreed discounts, SLA commitments, volume commitments and rate cards to find overbilling, underbilling and non-compliant charges.
- Telecom expense managementMonitors wireless, fixed-line, cloud connectivity and UCaaS spend, then recommends eliminations, plan optimisations and device consolidation.
- Revenue assuranceCompares usage to mediation to rating to billable event to invoice line, flags anomalies and initiates correction before the revenue is lost.
- Fraud exposureWatches usage, rating and billing events for patterns that do not fit the account - sudden usage spikes, unusual premium or roaming activity, activations out of line with its history - and flags the exposure for review behind an approval gate before it reaches an invoice or a settlement.
- Wholesale and partner settlementReconciles settlements for MVNOs, resellers, channel and roaming partners, verifies partner invoices and proposes adjustments.
- Billing anomaly detectionDetects billing anomalies, surfaces churn risk and produces role-specific insight without a data scientist reviewing billing output by hand.
Where to start
Every loop follows the same governed pattern, which is what makes the first one worth starting and the next one cheap to add. The right loop to start with is the one attached to the outcome you most need to improve.
Where a loop has been written up end to end, its entry above links to the worked example. The shared understanding a loop runs on covers the standards and the context model underneath every loop.
Or talk to a loop engineer about the outcome you would improve first.
