MWC Barcelona 2027

Fira Gran Via L'Hospitalet de Llobregat, Barcelona, Spain
Upcoming

MWC Barcelona 2027 runs from 1 to 4 March at Fira Gran Via. The agenda - ConnectAI, AI Nexus, AI 4 Enterprise and Intelligent Infrastructure - is the ground our loops already stand on. Get in touch if you would like to meet the team around the show.

The GSMA has opened registration of interest for MWC Barcelona 2027, running 1 to 4 March at Fira Gran Via. The announced themes are ConnectAI, AI Nexus, Game Changers, AI 4 Enterprise, Intelligent Infrastructure and Tech4All.

AI 4 Enterprise and Intelligent Infrastructure are where our conversation sits. The question operators keep arriving with is not whether agents can help, but how to let one act against a live BSS without losing control of what it did - which is a governance problem before it is a model problem.

If you want to walk through a specific loop - an upgrade recommendation, a contract renewal, a credit-risk review, an enterprise invoice - bring the outcome you need to move and we will show you what it takes to run it over the stack you already have.

  • Pick one loop and see it run end to end
  • Governance, approval gates and audit trail shown, not described
  • Works over your existing BSS - no migration required
  • TM Forum Open API and MCP interfaces throughout

Exos at DTW Ignite 2026

Bella Center Copenhagen, Denmark
Completed

TM Forum's DTW Ignite 2026 was the year the industry conversation moved from experimenting with AI to deploying it. Exos was there through the week, walking operator teams through the new loop structure in meetings: how a single governed loop carries an operational signal to a decision someone can stand behind, and how the catalogue extends that same pattern across quote-to-cash.

DTW Ignite ran from 23 to 25 June at the Bella Center in Copenhagen, organised around TM Forum's mission areas - AI & Data, Autonomous Networks, and Composable IT & Ecosystems - with execution as the theme. That is a useful shift for us: the questions were about deployment rather than possibility.

We were not exhibiting. The week was spent in meetings, taking operator teams through the loop structure end to end: detect the signal, understand the telecom and customer context, decide an eligible route, act within authority, confirm what changed - and where the human approval gate sits in each of those steps.

The part that consistently landed was the breadth behind it. A first loop is easy to dismiss as a point solution, so we showed the catalogue it belongs to: Product Expert Agent and Billing Agent loops across B2C, B2B and enterprise, and product management. Same governed pattern each time, which is what makes the second loop cheap once the first one is running.

TM Forum alignment is not incidental to any of this. The shared telecom meaning a loop reasons with comes from SID, eTOM, ODA and the Open APIs; that is what lets the same loop run over one operator's stack and then another's.

  • The loop structure demoed end to end: detect, understand, decide, act, confirm
  • Approval gates and audit trail shown as part of the loop, not bolted on afterwards
  • The full loop catalogue across quote-to-cash, not a single point solution
  • Grounded in TM Forum SID, eTOM, ODA and Open APIs
  • Runs over the operator's existing BSS - no migration in the path

Exos at MWC Barcelona 2026

Fira Gran Via L'Hospitalet de Llobregat, Barcelona, Spain
Completed

MWC Barcelona 2026 marked the show's 20th anniversary in the city, themed "The IQ Era" - the convergence of intelligence, AI and connectivity at scale. Exos demonstrated governed agentic loops running over an existing BSS, live from the Microsoft Pavilion. Exosphere Agentic supplied the telecom context, the eligibility checks and the approval boundary; the operator's own systems stayed exactly where they were.

MWC Barcelona 2026 ran from 2 to 5 March at Fira Gran Via, with CircuitX at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya as the pre-event day on 1 March. The 20th anniversary show drew close to 105,000 attendees from more than 250 countries and around 2,900 companies, under the theme "The IQ Era". Keynotes included SpaceX president Gwynne Shotwell and Starlink VP of engineering Michael Nicolls, with 4YFN and the Talent Arena running alongside the main congress.

The architecture conversation moved decisively past Open RAN toward AI-RAN - treating the radio access network as an accelerated compute platform - with Nvidia pushing a field-test ecosystem alongside T-Mobile, SoftBank and Deutsche Telekom. Intelligence being built into infrastructure rather than bolted onto it was the through-line of the week.

That is the same argument we were making on the stand. From the Microsoft Pavilion, Exos showed working agentic loops rather than a roadmap: order fulfilment, care escalation and revenue assurance, each running from signal to governed action with a human approval gate where the action warranted one.

Conversations with CSP technology leaders kept returning to three themes: how to get value from AI without another migration, how to keep agent-driven operations aligned to TM Forum ODA standards, and how to prove what an agent did after it did it.

The answer we took away is the one we now build on. Do not buy a new BSS. Pick a loop, run it over the BSS you already have, and make the governance provable from day one.

  • Governed agentic loops demonstrated live over an existing BSS
  • TM Forum ODA-aligned interfaces running on Microsoft Azure
  • Quote-to-Order and Care-to-Resolution loops shown end to end
  • 100+ CSP executive conversations on agentic operations
  • Partnership with Microsoft deepened across the Microsoft AI platform
  • Exosphere Agentic shown as the governed path between agents and existing systems
